Dynamis!

Again, Peach is honored to be accepted into a Dynamis LS. Thanks Iio for pulling Peach in!

To date, Peach had joined 3 Dynamis run - Sandy, Bastok, Windy. Success runs in Sandy & Windy, but failed in Bastok.

Dynamis, fun! But terrible lag for Peach {Cry}. Too many people, too many movement, too many monster at one time. Peach sometimes cannot see the monsters, sometimes cannot target the statues, sometimes it lag so much that hitting a macro with swift movements will result in wrong magic spell casted.

There's alot of sacrifice pull by Thieves for Dynamis-Windy. As one of the Thieves has yet to complete Dynamis-Windy, so the whole gang sacrifice for the thief so that he can get his key item. Here was Peach, flat on the bridge, with a statue crying victory over Peach :



And yes, Peach got her AF2 Glove in Windy. Looking forward for more Dynamis encounters!

Kirin!

Time to fight Kirin!

First time fighting Kirin was an eye opener for Peach. Never thought that a monster need an hour+ to bring down (Beside those Walking Trees for the Christmas event long agao lah!). Peach was shocked and stoned for a few seconds before knowing what to do in the battle.

With its' hard hits and terrible AOE, Peach cannot help but to stay far away from Kirin, casting magic from a somewhat safe position. And running away from Kirin has become a common procedure, especially for blackmages.



One thing Peach realized was how Kirin really resist most of the magic with its' thick skin -.-

A normal Aero magic (weak to wind as Kirin is based on earth) will do this damage :



But with Elemental Seal + Aero Magic, the result is :



and of course, the 674 damage invited Kirin to readies its' Tail Smash on Peach. But Peach was spared from the agony of pain, what luck!

And yes, Kirin admitted defeat.





And guess what? Peach had the Kirin's Pole! Yipee! Really give thanks for the LS for allowing Peach to own the Kirin Pole =)

4 Gods In Ru'Aun Gardens

Peach is privileged and honoured to be accepted in a Sky HNMLS recently. From a noobie Sky adventurer, Peach can now roam rather freely in this amazing place, filled with teleports and coloured doors.

Of course, before any God fights, the LS has to gather trigger items. Peach was guided around to farm gems and triggers needed to sprawn the 4 Gods in Ru'Aun.

We did lose some claims of the NMs though.... like Mother Globe NM, we were late by a few seconds T-T :



Then, it came the real thing. The Genbu, Byakko, Suzaku fight! (Peach didn't have a chance to fight Seiryu as at time of publish of this blog) . {This entry was not written with the thought of putting down any strategies that was used to kill the HNMs, to avoid any misunderstanding and sensitivity issues.}

Genbu

The Wu Gui, as some of the Singaporeans in LS call it. It is the enormous, giantic version, that can easier flatten Peach with one of it's fat foot.



Byakko

The pretty striped white tiger. It was annoying with it's constant paralyze magic. Arghh...



Suzaku

The big feather-ly bird, with it's annoying Chainspell ability (Why birds can cast magic?). Wonder when Peach can have a free ride on Suzaku and tour around Vanadiel for a bird-eye-view? Imagine! It's so much bigger, faster to travel on Suzaku, then those small little chocobos!

What's next then? Kirin! =)

The many faces of Peach

Oh my! Why has perception set in for how Peach should look like? Can Peach only settle in cloaks and robes?

Summerfest has started! Peach ran in the cities, admiring the beautiful fireworks and music. Suddenly, a group of dancing Tarus caught Peach's eyes. Wow! They look cool! Cute! Beautiful! Though they look like they are practicing some Kong Fu or some Tai Ji . . . Nevertheless, Peach still wish to dance like them. . . .

Those Tarus set Peach thinking. . . Why on earth are they not dancing in some scale mail or Harness? That could change the mindset that what people had posted on Peach! Good Idea! No?
Wouldn't be nice to let Peach dress handsomely for once?

Ifrit

Hidden in the deep caves of Ifrit's Cauldron, we woke Ifrit with our footsteps.



Other than the scary big size and ugly "Shadow-Lord" look-alike face, Ifrit was pretty easy to be tamed by us (if not, we should have bang our heads to the Ifrit's crystal and bleed to death or to find a hole to bury our heads ;p )



Leviathan


Hey vot! you spoilt Peach's picture!

We tracked through a small portion of Den of Rancor (with no map), to reach the place where Leviathan sleeps soundly.

Alot of adventurers had said that Leviathan is the more difficult avatar to tame. Hmmmm... Peach did not really feel so, probably with our levels, everything seems easier. (Wonder why SE not use a smart-BC technique where the BC will cap the party's level according to the lowest level of the members, and difficulty of the avatar adjusted to the capped level. Argh..don't scold Peach for this little thought...just something to give everyone have a fresh excitement for these kind of repeated BC ;p)

Peach love Leviathan! He look so slimy, so flexible, so soft to poke...haha!



And yes! Peach had collected all the required Whispers to start Fenrir Quest in Windy. With the start of this quest, Peach had to repeat the avatar BC to get the individual avatars for Peach's SMN job!

Worms BC

Having collected 40 Beastmen Seals again, Peach together with a few from linkshell proceed to do the BCNM40. We usually do the Mandy BC, but this time, we went to try the worm BC, after much persuasion by Squishy.

True enough, this Worm BC is easier compared to the Mandy BC. More relax, more flexibility and less stress. So next time we will most likely do this BC, right? :)

Kindered Seals Burning Circle

Have some Kindered Seals available to do a BC?

Try this Operation Desert Swarm BC!

Organised by Mega Boss - Rubedo, 4 BLMs are able to do this BC for those who need to clear their Kindered Seals. But of cos, BLM need some wages if good things drop from the BC lah!

Fun! And quite an easy way to finish a BC.

Hmmm... Realised that the postings are getting lesser... a few reasons : Peach is busy in real life..not much time to really adventure in Vanadiel. And Peach (and some others in linkshell) is getting a little restless and bored in Vanadiel already... hmm.. hmm... the game is still fun, but really, is the people who accompany for adventure matters. Hmm Hmm maybe Peach is one who scare of loneliness! hmm hmm....

Never mind, Peach has still some more screen shots in folder...these include the KSBC, God fights, etc. Will post them once Peach has some time, ok? =)

Peach Bard JSE

Bard JSE on Peach, really very very ugly? Ugly meh? Not nice meh? Why do you only prefer Peach in cloaks and robes? T-T

Peach Bard AF

Peach 3rd collection of AF! Even though Peach's Bard job is only Level 51, Peach has to complete all the AF Quests so that the AF can be kept with the uncle in Lower Jeuno. Peach has not many inventory space left...

The Crawler Nest coffer was a breeze. No competition, no death, Perfect!

The Castle O coffer was a "lucky" one. Vot and Grey accompany Peach to Castle O, and their presence made Peach felt so safe. We ran through all the possible sprawn spots and no coffer was spotted. We went back to the pond to kill some Yagudos, and after 3-4 kills, the coffer sprawned in the middle of the pond. Vot linked all the leeches and Peach had a safe time to open the coffer. Grey escaped us, leaving the leeches relieved that they have some more time to survive and swim in the pond [before the next adventureres decided to kill them off!].

Oh my! Castle Zvahl was a terrible place to look for coffers. Thanks to Linkshell, the key dropped at first kill. But the searching for coffer process was long! Peach had to do 3 separate runs, as the first 2 runs were in vain. During the 3rd run of search, Peach had to roam the Castle for more than 6 rounds, checking every possible spots. Eek!



Next was the AF Quest 2, which required Peach to go to Eldieme Necropolis. Peach was not sure how many people are need to the fight, as it is Peach first time to go to AF runs with a party of level 75s. In the end, Vot, Darkx, Grey and Busterwolf helped Peach. It was a easy fight. Overkilled. hehe! We only managed to kill 2 out of the 3 bones sprawned, as the 3rd one de-sprawned.



Next, Vot + Darkx + Grey helped Peach with Darkspark.



And the last AF! After burying the ring at the cold snowy spot in Xcarbard, Peach dug out a ring with strange wordings . After running to the Antiques pro in Port Jeuno, Peach was directed to Sandoria.

There in Sandoria, Peach was told of a royal love story. With the task to lay 2 rings on an Altar in the depth of Davoi, Peach set off , with the help of some LS members.

While Peach tried to place the 2 rings on the altar, a ghost sprawn to haunt us! It is quickly brought down by the strong LS members! And Peach got the full set of Bard AF! Now left 5 more levels in order to wear the full set. . . . .

This may not be something glamorous for alot of Black Mages out there. But it is something that Peach had achieved.

On a Very Tough Mob.

COP 8

We are coming to the end of the COP missions, until the updates in July.

We traveled through the tower again, with our usual Taru pathfinder - Zaan

We had to pass 2 rooms with 4 pots. And these 4 pots will need to be at their original position so that the opposite door will open. Once they leave their position and aggro someone, the door will immediate close. Iio had to sacrifice so that we can reach the end of the room.



We collected the 2 key items which enable us to proceed upwards from the elevator.

This BC before the updates in July consist of 4 pots ; 2 BLM and 2 RDM. It's an uncapped battle, and Peach's team tried 4 times on a single day, with 0 success. As this BC is still rather new, there are little good information about this battle. Oh well, try and error! That's the fun of this game :)

On a separate day, Peach and team tried this BC again. After reviewing our previous strategies and the DOs and DON'Ts, we stepped into the BC, with full confidence that we are going to win this BC this very day!

The strategy we used was, Vot (PLD) ran in and engaged one of the at the back. The 3 other pots gathered around the Vot, Grey (WHM) ES + Sleepga. The 1st Light Skillchain started (the melees get 300% TP before we moved up the elevator), and followed by 2 MB by 2 BLMs (Zaan + Peach). The is almost died by this time. After Magic Burst, Peach immediately ES + Sleepga2 to make the rest of the mobs sleep longer. We fired all our left-over power to finish up the 1st .

The melees immediately proceed to kill the 2nd (very important! Time cannot afford to be wasted here). The process is repeated. Zaan slept the when they woke up. After the 2nd died, we all ran to the corner to prepare to die. While waiting, we fired off whatever damage we can do on the pots. Alas, Peach was petrify a long long time while looking the 2 pots killing Kai (RNG) and Chunz (THF) ...Sigh..

We reraised after the 2 went back to their positions. After weakened wear off, Grey ES+Sleep on one of the , and we proceed to clear the other .

We won the battle! How sweet victory taste!
