Windurst Mission 7-1

Today, Linkshell organised to complete Mission 7-1 (The Sixth Ministry) for Windurst-ians. With 9 adventurers, we marched off to Toraimarai Canal. It is a very messy and confusing place. Even with a map, it is rather hard to navigate in the Canal. There are "hidden" tunnels in the Canal which are not shown in the map, and some of the areas are only accessed by walking in the drain. We spent quite some time to find our way. When we were almost there, some are aggro by the bats, which in turn link 3-4 bones and some fishes due to being too near to where the mobs are. Resulting a KO T-T

Finally reached the area (Taru Pathfinder, Do you need it? ^.^v) where the 4 NMs-Hinge oil were. We cleared the bats and started pulling the NM one by one.

Without too much effort, the NMs were cleared and those who were on the mission entered the Marble Door. And When Peach wanted to touch one of the books, a voice called out.... (heee..trying to cut down the spoilers)

After the mission, we decided to hunt the NM which was earlier scanned by one of the ranger in the team. It's HUGH! It's CUTE! It looks so good to sleep on! HAHA!

However, the fight was tough, with the fishes behind where the mages stood kept sprawning, aggro and link. In the end, the mages ran out of mp and WHM + BLM used their 2hour. Finally the NM died, but One PLD + one DRK KO too..and the NM only drop an undead skin . A good strategised fight would be succesful without any death. But it is a good experience. {Excitement}

Farming in Yughott Grotto

Went to Yughott Grotto to hunt for a Rare/Ex item - Castle Floor Plans so as to finish a quest - Blackmail. Wow, the drop is even more rare than the Chest key! Throughout my whole farming process, 4-6 keys dropped (can only keep ONE! T-T) and no Floor Plans! Almost wanted to give up and return to Sandoria. On the way out, Peach saw another Orc Sergeant and decided to try again. Wow! Finally, the item drop! :)

Peach decided to run around to see whether there's a Treasure Chest somewhere. It was a easy find, and Peach got 1320 gil. Not alot, but it's enough to pay a trip of chocobo from Jeuno or crags during peak hours :) Besides this gil, Peach has quite a far bit of armour drops, such as black slacks, white mitts and lizard armours.

Another Adventure Day

Sighz..Static Party arranged on Monday afternoon didn't take off..was a little disappointed..but Wiz's adventure idea peak me up again

We went Tavnazian Safehold to initiate 2 quests. Both quests required us to kill Orc NMs. We were able to handle the NMs rather well and completed the quests in less than an hour. Some gil and a necklace to our pockets :)

Carpenter's Landing

We went to Carpenter's Landing as Peach had not been there before. Agree with Wiz, the place is rather boring. Haha! We took a boat ride to enjoy the scenary. Alas, no where sell fish baits there so we can't do a little fishing. Next time, Peach will remember to bring some worms there to fish.

Weapon Skill Notorious Monsters (WSNM)

Was running around aimlessly when Darkx asked whether I can help him with his Weapon Skill Notorious Monster Fight. How could I reject someone who always help me? :)

However, Peach felt a little "out-of-place" as the other players in the 2 party alliance are all above 72. I was wondering how much can I help? haha!

Another shock came as the alliance, set up by a cute jp taru, were actually planning for FIVE WSNM fights! Peach needs her beauty sleep T-T

We set off shortly after Felixsky arrived. We went to the locations in this order : Gustav Tunnel (Dagger) - Zi'Tah (Great Axe) - Ro'Maeve (Club) - Den of Rancor (Scythe) - Quicksands Cave (Sword)

Of all these places, it's the 1st time Peach enter Ro'Maeve and Den of Rancor. Evil places!!

The alliance had 2 deaths in Den of Rancor (before the fight!), imagine even lvl 70+ suffers in Den. Haiz.

The NMs are really hard! They resist most of the magic and my strongest spell deal less than 100! I rather heal than to waste my mp on useless damage T-T Each fight gave me about 40-60 XP!

Though I feel that I did not contribute much to the fights (just some heals, status cure, sneak + invisible and of course D2s), I am still glad that I join this trip. It's an eyeopener, and it's fun to see the new places. I am also glad that I did not become a liability to the alliance and gave them any trouble. Cheers for own sneak and invisible spell and own supply of silent oil (much needed in Ro'meave!) :)

Misareaux Coast & Lufaise Meadows

Had fun exploring Misareaux Coast & Lufaise Meadows with Wiz today. We saw Bugard, Fomors, Big birds which are still Easy preys to us, Orcs, Walking Trees type of mobs (another name, cannot remember), etc etc.

We climbed up to one of the watch tower in Misareaux and saw a party of Fomors! Cool! Especially the taru monk.. HAHA!

These areas gave me lots of touching moments. When I saw those beautiful sceneries, I was once again refreshed on my adventures. It really felt good to spend time just runing around and explored every corner to see what each tail of the corners it zone to. Of course, the shout from Wiz "IT++!" Pea! Stop!, IT+++ bird!" brought some {excitement}!

Beautiful Scenaries:

Tavnazian Safehold, here we come!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

After clearing Promyvion-Holla, we were immediately transported to Lufaise Meadows. Here we were greeted with new music, very beautiful green pastures and Cutscenes for Chap 2 of COP missions. We ran westward to look for a long bridge. When we reach the bridge, we were all overwhelmed by the beautiful sight! We took a rest on the bridge :

Mata came and met us in Tavnazian Safehold, brought us around and completed our Map quest. Thanks Mata!

Looking forward for the alliance fight with Zaan & Iio 's Party for M2-3 (Distant Belief)! ^.^V

Another Attempt on Promyvion-Holla!

On Sunday, SG 915pm, 12 of us gathered in Jeuno to make a run for Promyvion-Holla. This is the 2nd attempt for some of us.

My team consist of Ces (War/Nin), Vot (War/Nin), Darkx (Rng/Nin), Dragonwiz (Rng/Nin), Grey (Whm/Blm) & Peach (Blm/Whm). We made a 101% preparation for this battle as all of us have the same goal and mentality, that is to clear it and be transported to Lufaise Meadows (Except for Grey who didnt join us for Mea Battle the other time ).

The run up to the 4th level was smooth. All of us were clear of own roles and responsibilities - since most of us did Dem & Mea together.

Fighting a MR :

When we reached the Spire, we dissolved alliance as the teams want seperate briefings. For Peach's team, we briefed through the whole battle process, the boss's special attacks, the food/drinks/medicines to eat, the animas order, and the 2-hr/buff/anima calls allocation.

With much anticipation (and maybe some "fear"), we entered the BC. After buffs and Grey recovered his MP, we ate our poison and HP regen drink (tanks). The whole battle was rather smooth, with Grey busy healing, Peach running to and fro to recast buffs, Darkx and Wiz busy firing shots, Vot and ces exchanging vokes and Ces busy popping his HP regen drink

At 50% health of the Monster, Vot (or Ces?) gave a loud call to use anima! We had arranged in the following sequence (Peach - Ces - Wiz - Peach - Grey - Vot). And midway during the sequence of anima, the 2hr loud call rang! The rangers fired their Eagle shots and Warriors used their Mighty Strikes. And before Peach can use Manafont, the monster was defeated! We won the fight with all of us in healthy HP, 4/6 2hr used, and 4/6 animas used. HURRAY!!!

Special Attention on our HP & MP Bar :

Special Note : I Just noticed that my MP was almost full, the juices helped, and the constant Aspir (to top up MP) & Drain (to counter poison). Did not do much of Black Offensive magic in here, as I was always running to and fro re-buffing, and helping to cure. I think I only managed to use 1 Thunder spell -.- & Elemental Seal + Paralyze. But I still glad that I went in as BLM instead of WHM as the Aspir helps alot. Gudos to our Wars and Rngs who did wonderful damage to the Monster!

I guess this win was not a "lucky" battle, it's clearly a good strategised one. And of 'cos, all the gil which we dump in, the time we spent to farm recollections and Dragonwiz's time to level his ranger from 21 to 31 in one week!
