COP 8
We are coming to the end of the COP missions, until the updates in July.
We traveled through the tower again, with our usual Taru pathfinder - Zaan
We had to pass 2 rooms with 4 pots. And these 4 pots will need to be at their original position so that the opposite door will open. Once they leave their position and aggro someone, the door will immediate close. Iio had to sacrifice so that we can reach the end of the room.
We collected the 2 key items which enable us to proceed upwards from the elevator.
This BC before the updates in July consist of 4 pots ; 2 BLM and 2 RDM. It's an uncapped battle, and Peach's team tried 4 times on a single day, with 0 success. As this BC is still rather new, there are little good information about this battle. Oh well, try and error! That's the fun of this game :)
On a separate day, Peach and team tried this BC again. After reviewing our previous strategies and the DOs and DON'Ts, we stepped into the BC, with full confidence that we are going to win this BC this very day!
The strategy we used was, Vot (PLD) ran in and engaged one of theat the back. The 3 other pots gathered around the Vot, Grey (WHM) ES + Sleepga. The 1st Light Skillchain started (the melees get 300% TP before we moved up the elevator), and followed by 2 MB by 2 BLMs (Zaan + Peach). The is almost died by this time. After Magic Burst, Peach immediately ES + Sleepga2 to make the rest of the mobs sleep longer. We fired all our left-over power to finish up the 1st .
The melees immediately proceed to kill the 2nd(very important! Time cannot afford to be wasted here). The process is repeated. Zaan slept the when they woke up. After the 2nd died, we all ran to the corner to prepare to die. While waiting, we fired off whatever damage we can do on the pots. Alas, Peach was petrify a long long time while looking the 2 pots killing Kai (RNG) and Chunz (THF) ...Sigh..
We reraised after the 2went back to their positions. After weakened wear off, Grey ES+Sleep on one of the , and we proceed to clear the other .
We won the battle! How sweet victory taste!
