Besides the AOE, Omega has nothing big to fear of... though of course it chase after Peach's butt several times...not only Peach's butt, but most of the mages' butts..

Ouryu BC

Was invited by Mckun's linkshell to join them with the Ouryu BC fight. It was an eyeopener for Peach.

As usual with the COP Ouryu, it can fly and do those special attack. But what's different is the life bar of this Ouryu is many many times more than the COP Ouryu

There were elements and worms in the BC too...it was for melees to get their TP..but it's a chore for mage to keep on sleeping it... :(

We didn't manage to win this BC. Well, maybe next time. But a very nice experience and eyeopener.

A Lookback

Happened to look at some of the past posts and chance upon one interesting Post.

We have all came so far. Finished COP mission was never easy...but it's an accomplishment. Through those missions, friendships develop to a different note. Some bad, some good. But overall was a great time!

However, Peach still has no courage to organise anything. Well, guess most people in linkshell can see or feel now. Peach is the quiet and follower in the game right now. And Peach cannot give you an explanation for that, but it is all mentioned in that old post. Yadda yadda...Peach uses controller to play..so hands are far away from keyboard...yadda yadda..

Wonder how will the new expansion missions work out to be?

But Peach is really encouraged that the determination to finish through the COP missions has not gone to waste, despite some setbacks. All Peach can say is, what comes around goes around. Those people who were not cooperative enough at Peach's time, will also face difficulties when organising their own missions and will feel the tiredness Peach had before.. so next time..think before making someone upset, ok? :D

On the good note, Dragonwiz is back! Oh my! Peach really miss him! Yippeee!!!

Haiz, and where is dear Zaan? miss him manz..but Peach knows that he is having his exams soon..take care and study hard okie!

Proto - Ultima

How great is it? Peach wonder. . . .

Heard it is tough, with lots of death and a battle against time .

Peach has the chance to witness what was told.. and experience the death & the battle.

When we enter the arena, there were alot of chests scattered around. Heard from the {mega boss} that these chests are tricks...so we skipped all of them and ran to the Proto-Ultima.

And there it was... Ultima

The battle was well in the beginning, with little deaths of the tank. It went bad when Ultima is having lesser and lesser HP. It has a special attack that count down..from 30 to 1. The person with hate will taste death immediately. Peach had it a few times, each time the attack was 2000+ dmg! Duh!

Besides the special attack, Ultima also have something like magic barrier or physical barrier.. a few of our magic were resisted as we timed it wrong (actually it is very hard to know when to time).

Besides that, one thing to note of that there must have enough healers. The mp usage for WHM is really taxing...

After much death, running around and away from the drawn in effect and special attack, we won the battle with just 2mins left. What a close one! It will be very very wasted if we hadn't won the battle.

And Peach has a new title :

Once again, We are led to Dynamis-Xarcabard . This time round, we managed to meet with the Dynamis Lord. He is HUGH! Peach is like a tiny little taru beside him and his feet can flatten Peach anytime.

Happy 2006! Another year in Vanadiel??!!??!! {Hmmmm}

Fenrir is running around in the different areas in vanadiel and 3 smn are chasing after it!

The Taru Summoners so cute hor! One of them has the same hair style like Peach leh!

Sufhi G1 & 2 Cleared!

Spent the past holidays to complete Sufhi's G1 & 2. Now she can level to 60!

Both the NMs are easy...for a level 75.

Diabolos Defeated!

With the lastest updates, there is a new avatar for Summoners! Diabolos!

This Sleeping taru is the one who asked Peach to fight Diabolos

Peach tried this BC 4x before we are able to get Diabolos. This battle happens in The Shrouded Maw.

1st try was nothing but a "dry" run. Didn't expect to much out of the BC. It was Darkday when we enter the battle field. This Diabolos spammed Nightmare & sleepga2 like nobody business. We only managed to bring Diabolos to about 50% health (before the tiles drop). Peach wasn't drawn-in and managed to MB from above platform.

2nd try was a more "serious" battle. We entered the battle in Firesday. This time, Peach was drawn-in the very 1st thing Vot was drawn in..Arghh... We managed the fight and left about 10%! How wasted!

3rd try happened in another day, with a different party member - BLM. Well, we will cope well even though we have no {Chainspell + Stun}. We will! The strategy was for Vot to disband and engage Diabolos so that the mages can stay at the platform without being drawn-in, at least for the first MB. We managed to have our MB and we were drawn in. And Diabolos slaughtered us one by one... When Peach was drawn in, the tiles had already dropped, nearly ran to the hole due to the camera angle when was drawn in. We left less than 5% of that Diabolos! Arghh!

4th try! And a very fortunate try. The 3 BLM & 1 RDM was not drawn in from the platform throughout the battle! We do not understand why...but we are very glad! The battle is so easy without being drawn in...haha!

Peach, like the others, forgot to take screenshot, as we were too busy & occupied in the battle. What a waste! T-T Just have a faint image before the winning cutscene fate away.

This NM is kinda of irritating...with its' Grand Slam and constant -ga spell, it seems quite impossible to tank him straight (but it can be done).

Had chances to follow Blueangel's linkshell to sprawn this NM. The first few tries were with errors but we soon learnt to deal with it. With kiting method, the hate level tend to bounce everywhere...but overall, the NM hunt is fun and we have a few shields dropped.

On a side note, Peach had an opportunity to help Mckun's linkshell to kill this NM..wow, they really have extremely good play. Mckun as a Ninja tanked Gration straight, with Gration facing the hill so that the -ga & AOE will not hit the rest. The attackers will get TP from the surrounding mobs and do a Trick Attack on Mckun. The mages can cast the spell with no worries of getting hate. WHM just need to concentrate healing Mckun. It seems easier than kiting.

Not the first time fighting Faust...but glad that Peach bump into Faust this time when everyone else said that Faust had been claimed by some other players. Crowy saw Faust too but saw the ground faster than having the chance to examine Faust better.. :D

Limbus!

Had a chance to participate in Limbus with Mckun and gang...Thanks Iio for the lobang!

Limbus is a 30 or 45 mins area battle...where we as a team have to beat all the monsters on a particular floor and open chests. Some chests will have time extension, coins & items and hp/mp refill.

We have to each buy a cleaser from a woman in Port Jeuno and get a card key item from an NM.

There are different types of monsters in Limbus..the 1st time Peach enter is where the elementals are. Just some random pictures :

We were given 2 crates to chose when we were at the last floor. And the Tarus sit on the crate which they think will have {treasures} rather than monsters.

Forgot to tell Mega Boss Mckun that Peach's ass is normally very lucky...and they chose the other crate instead..and out came Mystic Avatar!

The other time Peach enter into Limbus, we have to deal with an evil dragon..super evil!

Zilart Mission 14 - Ark Angels

After a long break from Missions (since finishing Promathia), afew of us decided to finish all our Zilart Missions.

We are stucked at Ark Angels. Peach had tried Divine Might a few times but had failed all. So instead of waiting for another Divine Might run, we decided to do the 5 fights of Ark Angels. Thanks to Vot & Iio for helping us with these battles even though they had completed Divine Might. The full party consist of Peach(BLM), Grey (WHM), Shik (BRD), Iio (THF), Vot (PLD) & Ces (War).

Ark Angel TT [BLM + DRK]

This TT is a coward! Keeps teleporting around. Peach finds it super irritating, 'cos it kept disturbing my magic casting by teleporting far far away. And the AOE spam of Silence, Petrified & Paralyze is just super irritating. Fortunate enough, we won the battle 1st try.

Ark Angel MR [THF + BST]

She calls her Tiger Pet...but interesting enough, we continue to fight even though we had agreed to {Run Away!} if the pet is a tiger. haha! The tiger was obediently sleeping away...with moments of waking up to claw Peach. Cesarea KO middle of the fight during MR's Rampage ws. But fortunately, this {cat} did not use Charm or we most likely not able to win the fight if she decided to charm Vot.

Ark Angel HM [NIN + WAR]

We tried this battle 2x. A pity as we nearly won for the 1st try, if not for it's Mijin Gakure.

The 2nd try, HM Mijin Gakure too. But Grey (WHM) & Shik (BRD) was not hurt and Vot was still standing. Peach reraised and finished the battle with whatever magic that can be cast with the {weakened} mp.

Ark Angel EV [PLD + WHM]

Better than HM, we tried this for 3x! (haha!)

First entrance was a really fast one. With Vot shouted some words to his EV Ark Angel, she decided that she doesn't like Vot and drop him with Spirit's Within (2000+ dmg!).

2nd try, we follow most guides' by kiting the EV. Everything was doing fine...and we passed the stage which EV Benediction. But Vot fell halfway and Ces & Iio called us to {Run Away}. Boooo! The reason for the defeat was the mages were hit by the AOE attack alot of times and too much healing needs to be done...

3rd try, after Iio's sudden talk about he wasn't hit by EV's AOE attack and suggested the mages follow the EV. What a bright idea! And it's confirmed! EV's AOE attack is frontal..hmmm, I wonder why no guides said that? Anway, the battle went smoothly and we won!

Ark Angel GK[DRG + SAM]

We are going to do this soon! Will update here when it's available!

UPDATES :

Vot kited this GK, so as to avoid the 3rd level Skillchain. This fight was well taken, though there are AOE dmg + bind, but due to the kiting and most of us stay behind the Gk, we did not really get hit by the AOE. Peach would conclude that the AOE is also frontal, but need more confirmation...Anyone?

Yeah! We pass Zilart Mission 14! Finally! Now to the EVIL kid who is ruthless & arrogant.

After collecting all the required Whispers to exchange for a Moon Bauble, Peach and party were ready to tame Fenrir!

Adventurers had said that Fenrir battle is a very very difficult one..unlike the other Prime Avatar battles. With this in mind, Peach & Party equipped ourselves with medicines and strategies that could possibily tame Fenrir.

With a party made up of 2x BLM, WHM, PLD, MNK & THF, we tried the battle 5x! Of course, the 1st battle was disaster..Fenrir's 2 hours Howling Moon brought most of us in red and instantly killed Peach and some other members.

After 4 rounds of defeat, all of us were more eager to tame Fenrir! How could we suffer defeat under a purple wolf?! That's unacceptable, in our little adventurer's dictionary.

We gathered our strength and courage and stepped into the arena once again.

All went well. And this happened :

We managed to stun it's 2-hour! We were still careful and blasted with all we have to finish the fight. And yes! We tamed Fenrir!

And the taru npc was shocked with our determination and success :

Carbuncle Mitts!

Something which Peach did not really thought of owning, but with the help from Greyfox who brought Peach to Temple of Uggalepih numerous times to search for the Offering and a party of all others who want to have the Carbuncle Mitts, Peach finally own the Mitts!

On the final attempt getting the Offering, Iio and Grey acted as cover for Peach to click on the offering...Thank you! =)

With a party of 5 of level 75, we reached the place where the "???" is. Trading the Offering will sprawn the NM Crimson-toothed Pawberry, which will open the fight with Searing Light.

Without much effort, the NM was killed and Peach got her mitts! Thank you all!

Fighting the Promathia

HO HO HO!

We are coming to the end of COP missions. Happy in a way as we let out a sign of relief; no more gil-depleting BC! But sad in a way, as Peach felt something missing from the game for nothing much to look forward to..... how confusing feelings!

For COP mission 8-4, we met with Promathia! It was not an easy battle. It has 2 forms, with the 2nd form much harder than the first. Oh yah! we were joined with Pishe and the "bird-man" (LOL, cannot remember his name! S-something)

Peach and the rest lost this battle 2x, with a sweet victory for 3rd and 4th time. Incidentally, the 2 loses was because we had failed to protect the "bird man". So if you are reading this, you are to make sure the "bird-man" lives. In actual fact, the "bird-man" hardly gain any hate from Promathia, but the AOE hit him. In addition, our tank and some other members KO, so resulted the Promathia went after the "bird-man".

Its' 1st form was pretty easy as it was rather weak towards magic attack. 2nd form required some well-thought strategy. For Peach's team, we used the transition time to rest full, melees and tank used sleep pots to get TP above 100%.

Weaponskills were unleashed once PLD engaged Promathia. After all the damage, PLD started to kite Promathia around the battle arena. And the rest of the damage dealers will run after to deal damage on Promathia when "bird-man" used his Stun on Promathia.

And Peach the blackmage focus on healing Pishe and doing small magic damage when Promathia put up Physical defence.

Wow! A tiring BC, with lots of running around!

But we were all well-rewarded with nice cutscenes following the victory.

And how Peach hate those small little monsters of the same race with Peach. Those little .... %@^#((@&* (bleah!) They gave those terrible nicknames to Peach!?! How rude! Who are their father! They need some discipline!

Come to think of it...If you know who is Goldmane, He is the father of these 3 tarus! Goldmane was mentioned in this blog before, but not a mention of his name at the time of posting. So...make your own guess! In case, Peach is blamed for too much spoliers!

It's here again!

Fireworks, city decorations, lively music, goldfishing! They are all back this year. Other than these, this year there's tarus dancing in the cities!

Peach ran back to Moogle and asked for the Yakuta+1 that Moogle had kept away after last year SummerFest. Nothing new about Gold Fishing this year, but there's a new prize to exchange for using 80 points. The Goldfish Set!

The real fun of SummerFest starts after about 1 week+ of goldfishing! Peach is supposed to find a partner and search for a Checkpoint in the different towns. We are to trade the dolls that we find with each other before asking Moogle to reward us.

Square Enix must have heard Peach loud screams of being lonely in Vanadiel! And Peach was given the privilege to chose a partner to adventure together.

But before Peach is awarded with the partner, Peach had to complete 3 quests. Long queues were forming infront of the Quest 2 NM sprawn point and Quest 3 Dragon BC Hut, right after the July updates. Peach was fortunate to chose a time where the queues for both quests were relatively short.

Dynamis!

Again, Peach is honored to be accepted into a Dynamis LS. Thanks Iio for pulling Peach in!

To date, Peach had joined 3 Dynamis run - Sandy, Bastok, Windy. Success runs in Sandy & Windy, but failed in Bastok.

Dynamis, fun! But terrible lag for Peach {Cry}. Too many people, too many movement, too many monster at one time. Peach sometimes cannot see the monsters, sometimes cannot target the statues, sometimes it lag so much that hitting a macro with swift movements will result in wrong magic spell casted.

There's alot of sacrifice pull by Thieves for Dynamis-Windy. As one of the Thieves has yet to complete Dynamis-Windy, so the whole gang sacrifice for the thief so that he can get his key item. Here was Peach, flat on the bridge, with a statue crying victory over Peach :

Kirin!

Time to fight Kirin!

First time fighting Kirin was an eye opener for Peach. Never thought that a monster need an hour+ to bring down (Beside those Walking Trees for the Christmas event long agao lah!). Peach was shocked and stoned for a few seconds before knowing what to do in the battle.

With its' hard hits and terrible AOE, Peach cannot help but to stay far away from Kirin, casting magic from a somewhat safe position. And running away from Kirin has become a common procedure, especially for blackmages.

One thing Peach realized was how Kirin really resist most of the magic with its' thick skin -.-

A normal Aero magic (weak to wind as Kirin is based on earth) will do this damage :

But with Elemental Seal + Aero Magic, the result is :

and of course, the 674 damage invited Kirin to readies its' Tail Smash on Peach. But Peach was spared from the agony of pain, what luck!

And yes, Kirin admitted defeat.

And guess what? Peach had the Kirin's Pole! Yipee! Really give thanks for the LS for allowing Peach to own the Kirin Pole =)

4 Gods In Ru'Aun Gardens

Peach is privileged and honoured to be accepted in a Sky HNMLS recently. From a noobie Sky adventurer, Peach can now roam rather freely in this amazing place, filled with teleports and coloured doors.

Of course, before any God fights, the LS has to gather trigger items. Peach was guided around to farm gems and triggers needed to sprawn the 4 Gods in Ru'Aun.

We did lose some claims of the NMs though.... like Mother Globe NM, we were late by a few seconds T-T :

Then, it came the real thing. The Genbu, Byakko, Suzaku fight! (Peach didn't have a chance to fight Seiryu as at time of publish of this blog) . {This entry was not written with the thought of putting down any strategies that was used to kill the HNMs, to avoid any misunderstanding and sensitivity issues.}

Genbu

The Wu Gui, as some of the Singaporeans in LS call it. It is the enormous, giantic version, that can easier flatten Peach with one of it's fat foot.

Byakko

The pretty striped white tiger. It was annoying with it's constant paralyze magic. Arghh...

Suzaku

The big feather-ly bird, with it's annoying Chainspell ability (Why birds can cast magic?). Wonder when Peach can have a free ride on Suzaku and tour around Vanadiel for a bird-eye-view? Imagine! It's so much bigger, faster to travel on Suzaku, then those small little chocobos!

Oh my! Why has perception set in for how Peach should look like? Can Peach only settle in cloaks and robes?

Summerfest has started! Peach ran in the cities, admiring the beautiful fireworks and music. Suddenly, a group of dancing Tarus caught Peach's eyes. Wow! They look cool! Cute! Beautiful! Though they look like they are practicing some Kong Fu or some Tai Ji . . . Nevertheless, Peach still wish to dance like them. . . .

Those Tarus set Peach thinking. . . Why on earth are they not dancing in some scale mail or Harness? That could change the mindset that what people had posted on Peach! Good Idea! No?
Wouldn't be nice to let Peach dress handsomely for once?

Ifrit

Hidden in the deep caves of Ifrit's Cauldron, we woke Ifrit with our footsteps.

Other than the scary big size and ugly "Shadow-Lord" look-alike face, Ifrit was pretty easy to be tamed by us (if not, we should have bang our heads to the Ifrit's crystal and bleed to death or to find a hole to bury our heads ;p )

Leviathan

Hey vot! you spoilt Peach's picture!

We tracked through a small portion of Den of Rancor (with no map), to reach the place where Leviathan sleeps soundly.

Alot of adventurers had said that Leviathan is the more difficult avatar to tame. Hmmmm... Peach did not really feel so, probably with our levels, everything seems easier. (Wonder why SE not use a smart-BC technique where the BC will cap the party's level according to the lowest level of the members, and difficulty of the avatar adjusted to the capped level. Argh..don't scold Peach for this little thought...just something to give everyone have a fresh excitement for these kind of repeated BC ;p)

Peach love Leviathan! He look so slimy, so flexible, so soft to poke...haha!

And yes! Peach had collected all the required Whispers to start Fenrir Quest in Windy. With the start of this quest, Peach had to repeat the avatar BC to get the individual avatars for Peach's SMN job!

Having collected 40 Beastmen Seals again, Peach together with a few from linkshell proceed to do the BCNM40. We usually do the Mandy BC, but this time, we went to try the worm BC, after much persuasion by Squishy.

True enough, this Worm BC is easier compared to the Mandy BC. More relax, more flexibility and less stress. So next time we will most likely do this BC, right? :)

Hmmm... Realised that the postings are getting lesser... a few reasons : Peach is busy in real life..not much time to really adventure in Vanadiel. And Peach (and some others in linkshell) is getting a little restless and bored in Vanadiel already... hmm.. hmm... the game is still fun, but really, is the people who accompany for adventure matters. Hmm Hmm maybe Peach is one who scare of loneliness! hmm hmm....

Peach 3rd collection of AF! Even though Peach's Bard job is only Level 51, Peach has to complete all the AF Quests so that the AF can be kept with the uncle in Lower Jeuno. Peach has not many inventory space left...

The Crawler Nest coffer was a breeze. No competition, no death, Perfect!

The Castle O coffer was a "lucky" one. Vot and Grey accompany Peach to Castle O, and their presence made Peach felt so safe. We ran through all the possible sprawn spots and no coffer was spotted. We went back to the pond to kill some Yagudos, and after 3-4 kills, the coffer sprawned in the middle of the pond. Vot linked all the leeches and Peach had a safe time to open the coffer. Grey escaped us, leaving the leeches relieved that they have some more time to survive and swim in the pond [before the next adventureres decided to kill them off!].

Oh my! Castle Zvahl was a terrible place to look for coffers. Thanks to Linkshell, the key dropped at first kill. But the searching for coffer process was long! Peach had to do 3 separate runs, as the first 2 runs were in vain. During the 3rd run of search, Peach had to roam the Castle for more than 6 rounds, checking every possible spots. Eek!

Next was the AF Quest 2, which required Peach to go to Eldieme Necropolis. Peach was not sure how many people are need to the fight, as it is Peach first time to go to AF runs with a party of level 75s. In the end, Vot, Darkx, Grey and Busterwolf helped Peach. It was a easy fight. Overkilled. hehe! We only managed to kill 2 out of the 3 bones sprawned, as the 3rd one de-sprawned.

Next, Vot + Darkx + Grey helped Peach with Darkspark.

And the last AF! After burying the ring at the cold snowy spot in Xcarbard, Peach dug out a ring with strange wordings . After running to the Antiques pro in Port Jeuno, Peach was directed to Sandoria.

There in Sandoria, Peach was told of a royal love story. With the task to lay 2 rings on an Altar in the depth of Davoi, Peach set off , with the help of some LS members.

While Peach tried to place the 2 rings on the altar, a ghost sprawn to haunt us! It is quickly brought down by the strong LS members! And Peach got the full set of Bard AF! Now left 5 more levels in order to wear the full set. . . . .

COP 8

We are coming to the end of the COP missions, until the updates in July.

We traveled through the tower again, with our usual Taru pathfinder - Zaan

We had to pass 2 rooms with 4 pots. And these 4 pots will need to be at their original position so that the opposite door will open. Once they leave their position and aggro someone, the door will immediate close. Iio had to sacrifice so that we can reach the end of the room.

We collected the 2 key items which enable us to proceed upwards from the elevator.

This BC before the updates in July consist of 4 pots ; 2 BLM and 2 RDM. It's an uncapped battle, and Peach's team tried 4 times on a single day, with 0 success. As this BC is still rather new, there are little good information about this battle. Oh well, try and error! That's the fun of this game :)

On a separate day, Peach and team tried this BC again. After reviewing our previous strategies and the DOs and DON'Ts, we stepped into the BC, with full confidence that we are going to win this BC this very day!

The strategy we used was, Vot (PLD) ran in and engaged one of the at the back. The 3 other pots gathered around the Vot, Grey (WHM) ES + Sleepga. The 1st Light Skillchain started (the melees get 300% TP before we moved up the elevator), and followed by 2 MB by 2 BLMs (Zaan + Peach). The is almost died by this time. After Magic Burst, Peach immediately ES + Sleepga2 to make the rest of the mobs sleep longer. We fired all our left-over power to finish up the 1st .

The melees immediately proceed to kill the 2nd (very important! Time cannot afford to be wasted here). The process is repeated. Zaan slept the when they woke up. After the 2nd died, we all ran to the corner to prepare to die. While waiting, we fired off whatever damage we can do on the pots. Alas, Peach was petrify a long long time while looking the 2 pots killing Kai (RNG) and Chunz (THF) ...Sigh..

We reraised after the 2 went back to their positions. After weakened wear off, Grey ES+Sleep on one of the , and we proceed to clear the other .

We won the battle! How sweet victory taste!

The last mission for Windy!

We have to get 3 songs from 3 different locations. 2 Locations had to be done in a party due to the doors in those areas.

Equipped with Food and Medicine, we went to the BC area.

We have to fight 4 Cardians and after a cutscene, we have to fight a Wyvern and a Mancitore together with Ajido-Marujido.

The Cardians were rather easy. We slept Cups after it used Benediction, so that we can rest and get ready for next fight.

For the Duo fight, Ces was kiting the Wyvern while the rest of us fight the Mancitore. Ces became {Sacrificial Chamber} after the Wyvern ate his blinks and we were out of distance to cure Ces. The Wyvern came after Peach once Ces fell and gave Peach a Max HP down attack...duh!

Ajido-Marujido is good! Powerful! We should just let him kill the mobs himself..HAHA

ENM - Solo

After the last update, there's a new ENM which enable one to solo the fight and win 2000 XP, and a chance to get an item according to adventurer's job. It was a good way to spend one's time and good time to up some of the skill points.

To date, Peach had tried this 3x, with 2 loses and 1 recent win. It wasn't very hard for a blm, but it takes Peach sometime to familiarize with the battle system. First battle was a green-horn battle, casting -ga magic which also hurt the dice moblin (BAD mistake!), which in turn made the moblin upset and fired his (as fast as lightening) shots at Peach.

Finally, Peach managed to win this battle on the 3rd try and opened the crate. No item, but a 2000 XP granted to Peach.

Divine Might

The night before Lare last day in Vanadiel, we get together to try for the Divine Might run. As it was a last minute arrangement, Lare managed to gather 18 people to do this BC only after about 4 hours (Peach had Panda eyes!).

Most (or all) of us were new in this BC. Almost no one know what to expect from these 6 Ark Angels. Some of us read up, some await instructions. Following some strategies from some online friends, and some forums, we stepped into the bc. Peach voice about the petrified ws done by the TT Ark Angel was covered by all the other voices...Oh well..

While getting ready for the BC :

Within 30 sec or less after the TT Ark Angel was engaged in battle, shouts were going around -- "I'm Stunned", "{Petrified}", "{Stona} please", "zzzzz". And one by one, we fell..this battle is fast! Fast to be defeated... duh...

We reraised, raised, healed, and discussed strategies again. One of the team members had another item which allowed us a 2nd try.

It was a better fight this time round. We managed to kill off 2 Ark Angels out of the 6. Not sure what happened, one of the Ark Angel came hammering Peach and the other mages (guess the ones who were supposed to kite that Ark Angel was either slept or stunned). Guess, when mages die, the kiters will follow very soon (without heal, without magic dd, without sleeper for pets). And one by one, we fell, again. Not too bad for a 2nd try.

However, when most members had KO, Kai was charmed! And while everyone of us were eating the sand from the ground, Kai was standing beside the Ark Angels in the center of the BC. We had a good laugh and it was sure a good entertainment to see Kai being slaughtered immediately after his charm effect was over. Haha!

Farewell Lare~

It's been a while since Peach blog..sorry readers..been quite busy lately :(

Lare had suspended his account end of May..We had our usual farewell, with the tingy feeling in our hearts. Lare had been a helpful ranger to Peach and linkshell, that we all felt the loss the moment he told us about his plans..but of 'cos, we understand his decision (botak! ;p).

A continuation of COP Chap 8

After going through the COP missions chapter by chapter, and a further trigger by this Chap 8, Peach is thankful that Zaan was not eaten up by the wonders in {Sea} after all. Seriously...without Zaan, how are we able to climb the tower without getting lost??!!

This tower is so confusing, partly because Peach can't find a decent-marked map in the internet. And without owning a map (have to talk to don't-know-how-many NPCs in the tower), it made matter worst as all tunnels and rooms look the same to Peach. Anyone had a link to a decent-marked map? Let Peach know, prettyyyy pleasseeee?

After doing 4 NPC escort quests, we finally reached the area where we had to fight a Ix'ghrah. This mob can change it's form from a ball to either bird, spider or human. The fight wasn't that bad with our 8 members alliance.

And we were treated with a nice cutscene

After this, we still have to climb another tower to get back our lost light. We slept the mobs on our way and dashed for the elevator. After 3 levels of climbing and running in and out of "tunnels" & rooms, we finally reached our portal to collect back our lost light.

Windurst Mission 8-2 = The Jester Who'd Be King

Saying Peach a busybody!! How dare her!

Windurst M8-2 is easier than what Peach thought. By clicking on the cracked door in Ruins with Sneak, the 2 cardians which popped will not aggro the clicker. And Grey, who sub SMN, pulled one of the Cardians using pet. The other Cardian will still stand infront of the door, ignorant of the fact that his companion is chasing intruders! :D

We Killed the Cardian slowly so as to wait for the other Cardian standing outside the door to de-sprawn. As such, we only need to fight one Cardian instead of two, and we could get our cutscenes and our Rank. Nice one!

The "Gold fish" in game behaves the same as of real life! They follow you around. {That's interesting}

And we thought that we could fish, so Zaan volunteered to be the bait...

COP Mission Chap 8!

We were ported to {Sea} immediately after the cutscene of Tenzen's airship battle.

We went to fight 3xNMs in the 3 towers. These Ru'aerns are like beastmen..each have their own class of job. And they use their 2-hr ability.

Noticed the "UFO" in the above picture?

After defeated the 3x3NMs, we went back to the gate to gain entry to Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi :

COP Mission Chap 7

One more Chapter to Al'Taieu! The {Sea}, they said.

Before the final Airship BCNM, we have to go 3 places to fight the sprawned NMs there. They are Carpenter's Landing (Cryptonberry), Bibiki Bay (Sea monk) & Misareaux Coast (Bugard).

It's time for the airship fight!

Together with Vot (PLD), Lare (RNG), Ces (WAR), Grey (WHM), Zaan (BLM) and Peach (BLM), we stepped into the airship. This battle is against Tenzen, who had the 3 tarus supporting him. We have to defeat Tenzen before he has a chance to do his level 4 skillchain (which means instant lost and party will be bounced out of the BC).

The battle went well and with skillchain and magic burst, we managed to bring Tenzen to his knees during our 1st try.

Peach's Bowyer's Ring!

Still remember the post which Peach mentioned about "Quests to complete for easy access to Mine Shaft #2716"?

We finally had a chance to gather 6 in a party to complete the quest "Return to the Depths"

It's a capped 40 BCNM, against a DRK Bugbear and 6 Moblins, who support their King with heals and cheerleading (NOISY BUNCH OF MOBLINS!)

We thought it will be easy..but not quite...we ended up trying THREE times.

And each battle, we used more and more medicine, in order to get win the Notorious DRK Bugbear.

First Try, we tired the FULL ATTACK method. Ignoring the 6 moblins, we focused all our attention on the Bugbear. Bad mistake! Probably our damage output were not strong enough(PLD, 2xRNG, WHM, 2xBLM), or some other reasons, we could only bring the Bugbear down to 60% HP and helplessly look at it's HP bar "refilled" when the moblins healed. And the Bugbear's special ability is really EVIL!

Second Try, we decided to get rid of the moblins so as to eliminate the healings and support. In addition, it will be easier for the PLD to kite the Bugbear when it used the special ability. (The 6 moblins will do a "Drawn-in" effect which made it impossible to kite the bugbear around the area). We nearly succeed, but oh well...

Success Run : We went back to town to top up our food, drinks and medicine. Now we know why the Bowyer's ring is at 400k(or more) on Auction House. It's not so easy afterall. This round, it was a close fight too...but all of us were able to pull through the end to win this battle. When PLD {Sacrificial Chamber}, the 2 RNGs took turns to "tank" until PLD's weakness was over. When WHM was low in MP, BLM took turns to heal etc etc. Good job done!

We fought 3 "UFO"s (that's the way we term it), and they had very powerful "knock-back effect".

ONE TO BE FEARED

This BC is terrible hard, in Peach's opinion. We have to clear 3 battles in 45mins (including cutscenes time, except for the last wining cutscene).

1st Battle - 5 Mammets

This battle was relatively easy as these Mammets were quite weak. The PLD will run in to aggro all the 5 mamments, and the rangers will pull the mamments one by one. Except for times where the BLM mamments casted -ga magic, this battle was a breeze.

2nd Battle - Omega

This battle is terrible! Omega has all sorts of AOE attack, numerous status attack. It went crazy at low health. And the Hate reset move (similar to Tonberry's move) is just so evil.

We failed at this stage for the first run. We managed to win Omega on our second run, with 2-3 death. We had to spend 5 mins for the weakness to pass before we can proceed to Ultima (which may be the reason that we lost run 2 due to time out). The 3rd time we tried, we clear this boss without any death! Peach thinks that beside good defense required from the PLD, hate control from the other damage dealers are also very important. In addition, Peach kept casting Haste on the PLD, which peach thinks that it helped the tanker pretty much.

3rd Battle - Ultima

This boss hit hard, Peach would caution all. Peach had to heal and heal the tank, as one hit from this monster could bring the tanker to yellow hp. It was a very stressful fight, due to the amount of healing and status heal needed.

The E-Attack which Ulitma spammed near to it's death was a terrible AOE and could instantly kill Peach (Taru)! It's single attack was also very strong, which killed most of the members.

For the success run, all of the members were lying on the deck and Ultima was left with 5% or less HP. Peach reraised but was discovered by the evil Ultima before Peach can run to the back of the ship.

Iio and Kai reraised and fired their Barrage and Eagle Eye Shot. Behold! Iio managed to finish him off!

And this was our HP when we won the battle :

The Hero Iio... (actually Iio wanted Peach to mention he is a hero in this blog..HAHA!) ops!

We finish Chap 6! Wow! This battle is super expensive! For Peach, about 200k or more were spent on medicine. But it doesn't matter, as long as we win this battle! Yeah!

Peach's First HNM - ROC

First HNM. Not to difficult, we had almost 3 alliance killing this. Big Group..but it was fun!

We waited for 3 hours before it sprawned. Nearing to it's sprawn time, a group of jp party came and camp together...they were the same group which had claimed it the previous day. But just 5-10 minutes before Roc sprawn, they suddenly warped / teleported out.. and the whole area was left with us.. Great! ^^v

Peach didn't manage to get a good picture on this, as this Roc cast Lullaby. Peach didn't dare to step too near to it.. boohoohoo~

The healing staff didn't drop..but the crimson blade...

COP Mission Chap 5 (Part 4) - Louverance Path

This time round, the battle area is at Mine Shaft 2716. Peach had done Ayame's series of quests, and hence able to trade an Ahriman Tears to warp to Shaft entrance :

In this battle, we had to beat 4 Moblins + 1 Bugbear. Our party config was RNGx2, SMN, BLM, RDM, PLD. The strategy was PLD on 2 Moblins (WHM+BLM), SMN kite 1 Moblin (THF?), 2 RNG on 1 Moblin (RDM), and RDM kite the Bugbear (MNK). Halfway through the battle, smn exclaimed that he could not find the Moblin that he was suppose to kite. We came to conclusion that his Levithan "killed" that Moblin, or that it had bombed himself ;p.

We won the battle at 1st try. It's rather easy as the Moblins were rather weak.

Louverance's path is COMPLETED!

COP Mission Chap 5 (Part 2) - Ulmia Path

Yeah! A continuation from COP mission!

With 3 paths to chose from, Peach and team decided to follow through Ulmia's Path first. And the first BC we were faced with was : the 3 Tracker Mithras!

Somewhat the same with the previous BCNM, this BC requires Peach and members to defeat 3 monsters, which will aggro at the same time. And this 3 mithra have amazing TP which could do Darkness Skillchain.

Peach's party consist of BLM (Peach), WHM, RNG x 2,SMN & PLD. It was a 1st-try WIN, but Peach would say that it's a close win. See our HP/MP bars, you will know :

All of us KO and raised (on reraise scroll) to fight again (with the exception of Zaan). Mata sacrificed 2 times! (PLD's way of life ;p). Anyway, if Peach's magic did not one off kill the last mithra, Peach would had KO the 2nd time (22 hp!!!!)

Peach was so busy during the fight, that screenshots were forgotten!!!!! (arghhhh). But Peach had saved the screenshots of the battle log. Here it is (you can right-click to save target as):

Next, we had to go to Bear Pinnacle to fight a Snoll Tzar Bomb within 45mins (or so).

We had to do as much damage as possible, before this ice bomb explode and kill all of us. It took Peach 3 tries (2 tries with 2 different teams). The first 2 tries we tried on Watersday, which was a terrible mistake! Most of the mages' Fire magic was resisted, doing as low as 20+ damage. Arghhh...

The 3rd try, we did on Ice day. None of the Fire spell was resisted, and Grey, who was the rdm, did very good damage with Chainspell. Hurray!

However, Vot exited the battle with 20+ Hp left. We wanted to cure him once he stepped out the Cutscenes so that he will not KO. However, the moment he clicked, he fell flat in front of us {/cry}. The DOT done by the Snoll Tzar is said to be -32hp..

ZM 6 - 12

Together with Luka, Ink, Ces, Vot and Grey, we stormed through ZM6-12 (in 2 sessions), with the goal of getting our SKY passes!

ZM 6 - Through the Quicksand Caves

We had to defeat 3 Anticans in the BC in Quicksand caves. This BC is pretty similar with ZM 4 Battle..except that most of us (except Luka) needs to equip ourselves with Echo Drops.
/Blush : Peach was "Day-dreaming" and casted Sleep2 instead of Sleepga2. Lucky there's good team members! If not Peach can dig a hole there and hide away [Peach slaps herself]. Due to the wrong move in the beginning, Peach didn't take any screenshot during battle. Busy redeeming by keeping the ants asleep! *sweat* After the fight, Peach was transported to here :

ZM 8 - Return to Delkfutt's Tower

Alot of people warned us that this BC is the hardest of ZM Mission (before Sky pass). All of us went in the BC with 101% preparation. Equipped with Hi-potions (even the mages!), echo drops, Hi-ether, food and drinks, we climbed up to the highest floor of Delkfutt's Tower (using the elevator of cos!)

The fight was rather smooth sailing. Vot, our PLD kept his hate management VERY WELL! Even at times where the Hate Reset move went off, Vot managed to get back the hate rather fast! And of cos this PLD is always well-prepared with his medicine/food (and very generous in using or passing out to others!) Ces and Luka's attacks were super, Grey's dispel was very useful (sub rdm) and Inky's healing was so in time to bring Vot back to health (and with that panic action!). And thanks to Luka, Ces and Vot, they kept Peach updated about the colour shining on Kam'lanaut so that Peach will not cast some magic which add on to his health instead. Great job done, everyone!

ZM 12 - The Mithra and the Crystal

After ZM 8, we ran between Jeuno, Ro'Meave, Norg, Rabao to do some Cutscenes. Finally! The last battle before our sky pass! With just the 6 of us, we tracked down into the depths of Quicksand caves. We cleared the mobs around and sprawn the NM by clicking on the ??? spot.

This NM is not very hard, the only problem was the magic it used. We were not able to silence it, even with Elemental Seal. Peach would say Stun is quite important as it cast Ancient Magic and lots of -ga III magic.

Yeah! We finally can enter to SKY! ^^v

Note : We did ZM6-12 with just the 6 of us, as 2 battles are limited to 6 members. We were between Lvl 70-75 (only Luka is 75). If you are planning this and have 6 members to do the BCNM, you do not require help to "bring" you to the battle field. The areas were pretty straight forward (not like COP mission where True-sight mobs are around). Peach is shocked to see people asking for helpers to go along with them to the BC.

Together with Grey, Vot, Ces, Iio and Darkx, We went to Quicksands Caves to enter into the BC.

Next we went to Cape Terrigan, to battle Garuda.

Again, the fight was pretty easy and in no time, Garuda was defeated.

Hmm..but have anyone ever notice that Garuda's legs don't look in shape?

Windurst Mission 8-1 : VAIN

Wow, so many missions to complete...From COP, to ZM, to the very first set of own country missions.. How can Peach ignore Windurst Missions?

This Mission consist of 2 parts, where the first part can be solo. Equipped with silent oil, Peach went to Ro'maeve to examine Qu'Hau Spring. And some strange figure showed himself for a while :

After this 1st part, Peach had to wait a few weeks to do the 2nd part of mission as it requires the help of some adventurers in order to take down the NM. During this period, the doll that was following Peach got on Peach's nerves. The talkative doll paused Peach every each zone, screamed at Peach..it is absolutely IRRITATING!

Finally! It's time to get rid the doll, TOTALLY! Thanks to all who helped! Peach got the cursed wand, and passed it to the taru.

Romance in the depths of Gustav Tunnel

Quests to complete for easy access to Mine Shaft #2716

Those who need this to gain easy access to Mine Shaft #2716, here it is :

1st Quest : Out of the Depths

Take note that You do not need to do the many runs between Bastok and Oldton as what was written, Peach thinks this has changed after a few updates. You can Trade the ash in the sequence 4, 3, 2, 1 (in separate trade window), and get all the 4 key items, before you make your trip back to bastok.

2nd Quest : A Question of Faith

Take note that you have to be ready to fight before you talk to the Rakorok.

3rd Quest : Return to the Depths

You only need to complete this quest up to before the BCNM. Tarnotik in Oldton Movalpolos will teleport you to Mine Shaft #2716 in exchange for Ahriman Tears.

If all the above seem a chore to you, you can farm for a snow lily from Uleguerand Tigers or Snoll in Uleguerand Range. But it seems that this item can be found in AH now (after a few updates).

But for those who spend their time to do the 3 quests, we shall try the BCNM after our COP mission, to get the Bowyer Ring (Ranged Accuracy: 3,Ranged Attack: 3 Level29 ) and 10k gil, ok? ^^v

COP Mission Chap 5 (Part 3) - Tenzen Path

Still at Chap 5...it's a long long mission...

Peach was sent to follow Tenzen.

We saw the Carbuncle who gave some directions on where to proceed...

We went to PsoXja, we had to pass through a lot of doors, and most of the time, it will sprawn a Gargolye :

We had our cutscenes at the Avatar Gate in PsoXja, followed by a few more cutscenes in Jeuno & Battalia. Next we went to Lower Delkuft to sprawn and kill an NM.

Afterwhich, we went back to PsoXja (different tower from the 1st one). There we were supposed to go to the bottom to get a cutscene. The door to click is in a room filled with sound-, magic- and sight-aggro mobs >< . Luck wasn't on Peach, as right after Peach finished her cutscene (will not get aggro during cutscenes mode), and Peach used her silent oil and prism powder, the gob "poped" at the corner of the Avatar door, on top of Peach. Of cos, Peach KO..and given that magic pots monsters were in the room, Peach homepoint as it's impossible to raise safely given that situation.

Wiz had made a decision to leave the game. For all those who had been with Peach's blog since the beginning, will know that wiz is my adventure buddy throughout Vanadiel...the one who are always keen to explore new areas immediately after updates.

Some Notorious Monsters Encounters :

ONZOZO

We went to Onzozo with the intention to camp Oze.

We ran past Peg Powler and decided to kill it (who will not kill an NM if they know they can kill it?). The Schwarz Axt dropped and Mata has a new Axe!

We waited for Ose to sprawn (and Peach fell alseep in between), AND when it finally sprawned and killed, Assault Jerkin dropped too! A good night of harvest!

Quicksand Caves

While farming for the spinel in quicksand caves for SOB quest, the NM Sabotender Bailarina popped. Look at it's height! It is so much taller than Peach!

We tried to fight this NM, but realised that it was not easy, We ran to zone, with our PLD Vot with less than 100 HP.

Bibiki Bay

Peach was fishing in Bibiki Bay and caught a Fish NM. Nothing special about this NM as it only drop a quest item. However, Peach likes it's colourful fins.. :)

Temple of Uggalepih

Finally able to do this quest where Peach had to hang a picture "Final Fantasy" on one of the walls in Temple of Uggalepih. Peach had missed out a cutscene before, and therefore failed to sprawn this NM a couple of times. This time is for real!

Beadeaux

Was running around Beadeaux to farm Warding Oil and saw this NM.

Sarutabaruta East

Was leveling lowbie job when Spiny Spipi sprawned.Was excited but being in a lvl 12 job, Peach did not dare to claim it. After much thoughts, Peach decided to run back to Windy and changed job, hoping that no one else discover it's presence.

Bingo! After a short chocobo ride, the Spiny Spipi was still swimming in the river, enjoying his peace. Peach managed to claim and kill it, but alas, no drop except a silk thread. T-T

In search for the map of Uleguerand Range

Peach heard alot of people said that this quest is a difficult one, having to track through the whole map without a map yet, avoiding True Sight Monsters and falling on the right platform. How Bad can it be?

Peach and adventure buddies went to Oldton to farm for the Moblin Hotrok needed by the quest. It is dropped by Moblin Ashman in Oldton, only one sprawn every 10-15mins. The drop was easy, with a 60+ Thief with us.

Then came the excitement to track through Uleguerand Range. Equipped with a paper map printed from the internet ><, Peach led Vot and Grey in the deepest of Uleguerand Range. Finally we reach the area where we were supposed to jump down the hill so as to land on the right platform. However, Peach has no idea on where exactly to land, as most guides are not specific enough. Thus, Peach hesitate to jump (kiasi!). It takes courage! Vot was the 1st to jump! haha! and with a "push" by a Ice bomb, vot took the lead. And behold! Vot told us that he landed at the right platform and urged us to follow suit. [in the meantime, Vot was killing off the bomb alone, with his always prepared medicine and juice, well done vot!) Where Where? Where's the ledge? Peach is too short to see what's down there T-T . Following behind Grey, Peach jumped too. {Peach felt like suciding}

Both of us landed on a ledge and were wondering where vot was. Peach thought that they had fallen on the wrong platform, but Grey insisted that we should jump off the ledge to the bottom. And true enough, Vot was in the tunnel below the ledge which we landed. Thank God for great adventure buddies for companion! {If Peach had done this alone, most likely an unsuccessful try...kiasi!)

We ran toward the point where we supposed to trade our item to a point, and we were awarded with the map! Yeah!!

Quicksand Caves

Ifrit's Cauldron

This is the hardest-to-reach Headstone. We have to tracked through Ifrit's Cauldron to reach this Headstone. And Ifrit's Cauldron aggro up to Lvl 75, with magic-aggro monster everywhere. The aggro distance is VERY far.

There's some deaths (Aggro by Ash Dragon, Went wrong way etc etc) along the way. Vot had to homepoint as he dropped to another part of the map. We tractored him up from one part of Yuhtunga Jungle :

And Peach traded a Garnet to get her Opo-Opo Necklace...with 3 opo-opos appearing front of Peach!

Please DO NOT accept / download / install ANYTHING from people in game (I said "people" in general as some people may had forwarded programmes without any knowledge of what they are actually forwarding.)

Summary for those who are not free to read the whole thread : One player by the name of XONI forwarded some kind of programme to a player call PeyPey. The programme contains some password hacker thingy (I could not find a better way to describe..something to that effect lah..) XONI hacked through PeyPey's POL ID and Password, and took away all gil (millions!) and equipments, and dropped all R/E items (eeeek!!!!), and deleted PeyPey's account.

White Mage AFs

Peach got her full set of Whitemage AF! but still unable to wear all of them....

We went to fight the Dark Spark NM. It is much easier as compared to the time Peach did her BLM AF, as we all went with our highest jobs.

Next we went to Fei'yin to fight the horrible NM which spam DD every few seconds. We had about 8 people around the level of 68-75...yet we have 2 deaths.. We underestimated this NM and thought it will be a breeze with higher levels.. *sob*
